Original Research & Frameworks

We publish original research on AI sycophancy, cognitive dependency, and the mechanisms through which AI systems shape human thinking. Our work bridges neuroscience, contemplative science, and AI safety to establish the theoretical and empirical foundations of Layer 3.

A foundational paper introducing the honey pattern, the enforcement problem, and the gap as named frameworks for understanding AI's cognitive impact.

Sycophancy Mapping

Cataloguing real-world incidents of AI behavioral patterns that reinforce user assumptions, including documented cases across commercial AI platforms.

Cognitive Dependency Indicators

Developing measurable markers for when human decision-making begins deferring to AI pattern reinforcement.

Publication timeline: First paper targeted for pre-summit release, Q3 2026.

TRAINING

Cognitive Sovereignty Programs

Structured programs that equip teams with the awareness, tools, and practices to maintain cognitive independence when working with AI systems. Designed for corporate L&D, institutional leadership, and AI-adjacent teams.

THREE TIERS

Awareness — half-day workshop

Introduction to Layer 3 concepts. What sycophancy is, how it operates, why awareness alone is insufficient. Interactive demonstration using live AI interactions. For: all-hands sessions, leadership briefings, onboarding.

Practice — 2-day intensive

Somatic and metacognitive training for real-time detection of AI pattern reinforcement. Participants build a personal interrupt protocol. For: AI product teams, content teams, strategy teams.

Certification — 5-day program + assessment

Full Cognitive Sovereignty Practitioner certification. Combines Layer 3 theory, somatic literacy, structural understanding, and practiced interruption. Qualifies participants to deliver Awareness sessions within their organization. For: L&D professionals, AI ethics officers, institutional trainers.
